Rebates

  • Referral

A referral is not necessary to schedule an appointment with our clinicians. You have the option to self-refer by contacting us via phone or email. If you possess a referral from your GP, paediatrician, or psychologist through a government rebate system, you may be eligible for a reimbursement for our services.

  • Medicare

A General Practitioner (GP) will determine if your child is eligible for a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. If the GP refers your child under a CDM plan, you may qualify for a Medicare rebate of $56 per session, applicable to a maximum of 5 allied health services per calendar year. Individuals meeting the criteria for a CDM plan (formerly known as an Enhanced Primary Care plan) usually require multidisciplinary team care involving a GP and at least two other healthcare providers.

  • NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) offers support for individuals dealing with developmental delays or disabilities. Teach 2 Talk Speech Pathology has the capability to deliver services to NDIS clients that are self-managed or plan-managed.

For additional information on the NDIS please refer to the NDIS website

  • Private Health Insurance

Families with Private Health cover may be able to claim rebates for Speech Pathology services. The extent of your cover depends on the type of policy and extras you have selected. Please consult your private health fund for more details.
